Rabbit Bag in the Rabbit year, 2011!

Pleated droppy ears bunny bag which I made for my little sister. It has different designs on both sides. The side with the bunny face is for a fun mood whereas the other side is good for a casual outing. The bunny bag has pom pom lace running along the shoulder straps. They look vintage & feminine. The heart lace applique was added on as a tattoo on the bunny face.


The bunny bag has a pair of droopy ears, a pair of closed eyes & it doesn't have a mouth! Nah, it's not a monstrous bunny. There's a meaning behind the creation of this bunny bag with extraordinary features! 


Closed eyes ---> See no evil
Droopy ears ---> Hear no evil
No mouth ---> Speak no evil

The inside is padded & quilted. I lined it with a bunny fabric to match the outside. There're 2 pockets in the bag which can hold things like mobile phone, tissue, etc. 

This bag is so soft & cuddly! It's made of cotton fabrics inside out.

Handmade "Green Tea" Wallet/Clutch using patchwork technique with a 'heart lace' applique & lace detail along the card slots divider. The colour combination is so soothing & relaxing, just like having a cup of green tea.

A dangling set of beads has been added as a charm to bring out the femininity in you. When you carry the wallet around like a clutch, the beads will be exposed (just like in the picture). As these beads rub against each other gently, they will produce a soft soothing sound. 

On top of that, there is a hand-crocheted button flap that looks so cozy. It's easy to button or unbutton as the crocheted flap has some elasticity due to the nature of the yarn. It has some bumpy texture which is nice to the touch.
